Shelby Miller Designs

Welcome Shelby Miller Designs to Kashem Collections!

Miller, who is a twin, was born in Boston, Massachusetts with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) and was diagnosed before birth with a Single Left Ventricle Hypoplastic Aorta Arch. By the age of four, she underwent three open heart surgeries at Boston Children's Hospital where doctors reconstructed her heart which has allowed Shelby to live her life to the fullest extent possible. 
Shelby's original prints have focused on the true story about her own journey in life with  heart disease.  Her goal in the future is to have a children's book published that can be used as a tool for hospitals to help sick children. 
In the Spring of 2023, Shelby sold her first art piece, CHD Heart, at Woodstock High School AP Senior Art Exhibit at Artistree Community Arts Center in Pomfret, VT. Miller is currently enrolled full time as a Sophomore at New England College in Henniker, NH where she is studying Illustration with a minor in Marketing.
